Take That concert tickets for their 2011 progress tour recently sold one million tickets, beating their previous record for the most amount of fans to watch a tour in the UK and Ireland. Having Robbie Williams rejoin the band has created huge intrest in the upcoming tour after last performing with them 16 years ago in a tour of 25 stadium shows. Ticket agency Ticketmaster had 20 million views on the day the tickets were released and band promoter Simon Moran apologised for telephones and websites crashing due to the amount of fans trying to buy tickets and was quoted as saying "we're over 950,000 tickets sold which is far in excess of what anyone's ever done in one day.So its a case of coping with it as best as were able to." On top of the of the huge amount of tickets sold the five piece are also breaking records with their album sales which has achieved the biggest first week sales in thirteen years. A spokesperson confirmed 520,000 albums were sold in the first week, in 1997 oasis beat that with 663,000. With sales like this the band just seem to be getting bigger and bigger and if their last tour "The Circus" was anything to go by fans will be treated to a spectacular stage show which will take there breath away. So if your a Take That fan or just mildly curious i suggest you buy a ticket to what will undoubtedly be the hottest show of 2011.
